Capitalized terms (Plan, Account, Service, User, Paddle, etc.) have the meaning assigned to them in Section 1 of the Terms of Use.

8. Refund policy

8.1 Pro-rated refund

You may request a pro-rated refund of your first payment within 14 days following the date of your initial purchase. The amount refunded equals the amount paid multiplied by the ratio of unused days to the total length of the paid period.

The refund right set out in Section 8.1 does not apply to:

To exercise your refund right, you send your request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your Account. The refund is issued to the same payment method used for the purchase, within a reasonable time, generally 5 to 10 business days, subject to the processing times of Paddle and of your financial institution.

8.4 Mandatory feedback questionnaire

A feedback questionnaire must be completed as part of your refund request and is a mandatory step of the procedure. Refund eligibility is nonetheless assessed exclusively on the objective criteria set out in Sections 8.1 and 8.2 — namely the date of purchase and its initial nature — and is in no way conditioned on the answers provided in the questionnaire.

8.5 Special provision for residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

The refund right set out in Section 8.1 is more generous than the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. By subscribing to a paid Plan and beginning to use the Service immediately, you consent to the performance of the contract starting before the statutory withdrawal period expires. Vector's refund policy nonetheless remains applicable.

How to request a refund — step by step

  1. Check eligibility. The request must be made within 14 days of the initial purchase. Renewals and Plan changes are not eligible.
  2. Send your request. Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Vector Account, stating: your Account identifier or the email used at signup; the approximate date of purchase; and the subject of the request. No justification of the decision is required.
  3. Feedback questionnaire. A short feedback questionnaire is sent to you as part of processing your request. Completing it is mandatory to conclude the procedure. The answers are used to improve the Service and have no bearing on refund eligibility.
  4. Refund payment. The refund is credited to the payment method used for the purchase, typically within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the processing times of our payment processor (Paddle) and of your financial institution.
